Camping in Lacanau by the sea
Our seaside campsite is located in Lacanau Lac, just a few kilometers from the Atlantic Ocean. The nearest beach, which borders the lake, is within walking distance of the campsite! You can also reach the beaches by road or bike.
Campsite close to Lacanau’s most beautiful beaches
There’s no shortage of beautiful beaches in the vicinity of ourLacanau bord de mer campsite! Would you like to relax and sunbathe in the warm sand? The choice is yours! Go to Plage de l’Écureuil, also known as Plage Sud. It’s just a ten-minute drive from the campsite, not far from Mickey’s Club, which is great fun for the kids. This is the nearest ocean beach to our Lacanau vacation village.
As for Plage Centrale, very popular with holidaymakers, it particularly attracts beginner surfers . We advise you to go in the morning, to reserve a good seat and make the most of it! If you like surfing, you can also visit the less-frequented Jah Point beach. Please note that it is not supervised. If you’d like to learn how to surf, visit one of the campsite’s partner surf schools.
From the Lacanau bord de mer campsite, you can also reach the Alexandre beach by taking the winding paths that wind between the sand dunes. This wild place is bathed in a mysterious atmosphere that will delight thrill-seekers.

Or try your hand at the 18-hole Ardilouse golf course , just five minutes from the campsite. Cyclists can cycle around the lake in 1h30.

The campsite is located in a secluded spot in the forest, among pines and mimosas. Get away for a few days from the hustle and bustle and crowds of the region’s city centers and busiest spots.
